Ending years of Bronco enthusiast anticipation, the Ford Motor Company debuted the all-new Bronco and Bronco Sport SUVs in July. Now Ford celebrates Bronco’s 55th birthday with five Bronco concept vehicles. The vehicles showcase factory-backed accessories for Bronco and Bronco Sport that allow owners to customize their vehicles and equip them for improved off-road performance and other activities.

Building on the Bronco Four-Door Outer Banks, this concept is designed for a professional fishing guide along Cape Hatteras National Seashore. Factory-style roof rails and crossbars are added, along with a Yakima LockNLoad Platform roof rack and a Bestop Sunrider first-row soft-top. The fender-mounted trail sights become mounting points for a custom fishing rod rack and seat perch. The front of the Fishing Guide concept features a Ford Performance modular bumper and safari bar; a slide-out tailgate brings up the rear. The package also has all-weather floor mats and splash guards.

The second of five Bronco concepts is based on the Bronco Two-Door Badlands, and gets prepped to tackle the toughest trails. The package features a Ford Performance modular front bumper, tube doors, beadlock-capable wheels, a 40-inch RIGID LED lightbar and a Ford Performance by WARN winch. Factory roof rails support a Yakima Platform roof rack system with mounts for a shovel, Ford Performance by WARN recovery kit and recovery boards. Additional goodies include a rear-swing gate table and rugged floor mats.

Based on the Badlands — the most off-road-capable Bronco Sport — the Bronco Sport Trail Rig adds 31-inch BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 tires, a one-inch lift kit and Ford Performance by RIGID LED off-road lights mounted to a front nudge bar. A Yakima LockNLoad Platform roof rack and off-road gear mounts are designed to carry gear such as a high-lift jack kit, Ford Performance recovery boards and jerry cans.

Designed to haul even more outdoor gear, the Bronco Sport TOW RZR is also based on the Bronco Sport Badlands, featuring a Class II Trailer Tow Package rated to tow 2,200 pounds. The Bronco Sport TOW RZR adds Yakima HD Bar crossbars and an OffGrid medium cargo basket. Also a part of the Bronco birthday event, Ford revealed an all-new Polaris RZR XP Turbo 1000.

When Bronco debuted in July, Ford announced it will establish four Bronco Off-Roadeo areas in four locations around the country — places where Bronco owners and enthusiasts can test the new Bronco lineup. Today Ford revealed the first Bronco Off-Roadeo location in the hill country of Austin, Texas. The Bronco Sport Off-Roadeo Adventure Patrol is designed as a support vehicle for Off-Roadeo locations and is equipped with a Yakima LockNLoad Cargo Platform to hold recovery gear such as a high-lift jack, recovery boards and jerry cans. A Ford Performance by RIGID off-road LED lightbar gets mounted to the rack system, and the hood features a landing pad for a drone in use at Off-Rodeo events. The Bronco Sport Off-Roadeo Adventure Patrol also includes a Yakima interior bike rack that holds two mountain bikes.
