2019 Geneva Motor Show: Bugatti Chiron Sport ?110 ans Bugatti?

Bugatti Anniversary
The special edition Bugatti Chiron Sport — “110 ans Bugatti” — celebrates 110 years of Bugatti, but also pays tribute to France. “With the limited Chiron Sport ‘110 ans Bugatti,’ Bugatti is ushering in the 110th anniversary of its foundation. At the same time, we are underlining our origin and our French roots in Molsheim,” said President of Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. Stephan Winkelmann. “Molsheim in the Alsace region of France is an essential element in Bugatti’s brand history and this is also where we are planning our future,” Winkelmann noted.

French Tribute
Finished in a two-tone color scheme with exposed Steel Blue carbon fiber and matte Steel Blue, the Bugatti Chiron Sport “110 ans Bugatti” pays tribute to France with exterior and interior elements utilizing the French Tricolour — the three colors of blue, white and red found in the French flag. On the exterior, the mirror caps, underside of the deployable rear spoiler and “110 ans Bugatti” logos all feature the blue, white and red, while many interior elements also incorporate the French Tricolour. The production run of this Bugatti Chiron Sport “110 ans Bugatti” will be limited to 20 cars.

Hyper Supercar
Underneath the matte Steel Blue and Steel Blue Carbon engine cover of the Bugatti Chiron Sport “110 ans Bugatti” lurks an awesome 8.0-liter W16 engine with quad turbochargers producing 1500 horsepower and 1180 lb-ft of torque, with all that power delivered through a sophisticated all-wheel-drive system. According to Bugatti performance figures, the Chiron Sport “110 ans Bugatti” will accelerate from zero to 62 mph in 2.4 seconds, reach 124 mph in 6.1 seconds, and 186 mph in 13.1 seconds. Maximum speed is 261 mph.

Carbon Fiber
The hood, front fenders, door and side panels behind the doors are exposed Steel Blue carbon fiber, while the signature horseshoe Bugatti grille and the dominant C-shape surrounding the passenger compartment are aluminum. The C-shape line, the roof and the rear fenders are finished in matte Steel Blue to create the two-tone effect reminiscent of historic Bugattis.

Matte Black
The rear bumper and rear diffuser are finished in glossy Steel Blue Carbon, contrasting with the matte black exhaust system, matte black rear spoiler supports and matte black Ettore Bugatti logo. The entire width of the underside of the rear spoiler is painted in the colors of the French flag. The 20-inch alloy wheels are finished in Nocturne matte black, and brake calipers are bright French Racing Blue.

100 ans Bugatti Logo
The sand blasted and hand polished aluminum fuel-filler cap features the “100 ans Bugatti” logo, with the French flag running vertically through it. The Logo is also added to the panels of gloss carbon fiber behind the side windows.

Handcrafted Interior
The seats are upholstered in soft Deep Blue leather, with bright French Racing Blue leather and dark blue Alcantara panels to contrast. The “100 ans Bugatti” logo is stitched into the head restraints, with the French flag colors running the length of the seatback. The door panels are also covered in Alcantara, and bright French Racing Blue elements include storage compartments, seat belts and leather window buttons.

Special Features
A medallion in the center console storage space is made of solid silver with enamel inserts and placed on a carbon fiber base. The Sky View roof is an option on Chiron and standard on Chiron Sport “110 ans Bugatti” and includes two glass panels, one above the driver’s seat and one above the passenger seat.
