Electric Roll-Royce to preview in Geneva

Rolls-Royce has built a one-off electric vehicle called the Phantom Experimental Electric (EE): code named the 102EX.The EE is the world?s first ultra-luxury battery electric vehicle and will be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show on the first of next month.

Though there are no plans for mass-production, Rolls-Royce will be sending the vehicle on a world tour, including the Middle East, Europe, Asia, and North America, to gather impressions from owners, enthusiasts, and the press.

?With this vehicle, we begin an exploration into alternative drive-trains, seeking clarity on which alternative technologies may be suitable to drive Rolls-Royce motor cars of the future,? said CEO Torsten M?ller-?tv?s.
