First introduced on the 2022 Lincoln Navigator, the 2023 Lincoln Corsair features an available next-generation Lincoln ActiveGlide 1.2 hands-free driver-assistance system. The new Corsair is also the first Lincoln vehicle to add four new available features to the advanced system: lane change assist, in-lane repositioning, predictive speed assist and intersection assist 2.0.

“Corsair plays an important role in our portfolio — artistically crafted and expertly designed to attract
younger Lincoln clients and give them the luxury experience they desire,” said Michael Sprague,
North America director at Lincoln. “We want the drive experience to be even more effortless and
personal and the new Corsair will deliver that with advanced technology and new features,” Sprague observed.

Of the four new features added to Lincoln ActiveGlide 1.2 for 2023 Corsair, lane change assist will perform a hands-free lane change when requested by the driver tapping the turn signal. And when following slow-moving traffic, lane change assist can suggest a lane change if it would be beneficial. Predictive speed assist automatically adjust the speed when approaching a sharp curve and alerts the driver before the speed change occurs.

In-lane repositioning helps make the hands-free driving experience feel more natural by moving the vehicle away from vehicles in adjacent lanes, which is often more comfortable for the driver and passengers, especially when next to larger vehicles. Intersection assist 2.0 helps avoid potential collisions with pedestrians while turning. The 2023 Corsair will also debut blind-spot assist, which will alert the driver with a light in the side mirror and haptic movement in the steering wheel when the driver has missed warnings from the blind-spot information system.

this in a very unique and dynamic way,” said Kemal Curic, global design director at Lincoln. “With the
new Corsair we are offering a glimpse into Lincoln’s new exterior design language and introducing
new and more youthful colors and materials to offer more ways for our clients make their vehicle their
own,” Curic noted.
