One of the most iconic nameplates for Acura, and the original entry model of Honda’s luxury brand, Integra returns for the 2023 model year as an all-new premium sport compact. Featuring a sleek liftback design, the new Integra is available to reserve now and scheduled to arrive in spring 2022. The first 500 customers reserving a new Integra will have the opportunity to claim a limited-edition NFT.
“The 2023 Acura Integra is serving the same role in the lineup as the original model that helped launch the brand three decades ago by bringing in the next generation of driving enthusiast,” said Assistant Vice President of Acura National Sales Emile Korkor. “With its engaging driving character, flexible five-door liftback body style and advanced technology and features, the Integra will welcome a host of new buyers to the Acura brand,” noted Korkor.
Built on a rigid body structure with a sport-tuned chassis, the 2023 Acura Integra comes to market as a 5-door liftback premium sport compact powered by a turbocharged 1.5-liter engine producing 200 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque. The engine gets mated to a standard CVT transmission specifically tuned for the high-output turbo engine. An available short-throw, close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission features automatic rev matching and gets paired with a helical limited-slip differential.
The new Integra has a hatchback design with a coupelike profile inspired by the original 5-door model that helped launch Honda’s new brand in 1986. This new Integra follows the design language first seen on the 2019 Acura RDX. The new sport compact has a front fascia featuring a frameless Acura Diamond Pentagon grille, Jewel Eye LED headlights, Chicane LED daytime running lights and available LED fog lights integrated into the lower front fascia. The design also includes thin A-pillars and a low cowl to create an open greenhouse for optimal outward visibility.
At the rear of the vehicle, the new Integra design features an integrated spoiler, wide single-piece LED taillights similar to previous-generation Integras, and dual exhaust outlets. Standard wheels are 17-inch alloys with optional 18-inch wheels and available 19-inch accessory wheels. An available A-Spec sport-appearance package adds gloss-black trim, a front lip spoiler, A-Spec badges and Shark Gray 18-inch alloy wheels with 235/40R18 all-season performance tires.
The interior of the 2023 Integra features a standard 10.2-inch Acura Precision Cockpit digital gauge cluster, as well as a 7-inch digital center touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The new model also has standard-equipment synthetic leather seats and an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat available in ebony, red or orchid.
An optional Technology Package for the 2023 Acura Integra adds a 9.0-inch center touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Alexa Built-In, Qi-compatible wireless charging and a 5.3-inch head-up display. The Technology Package also includes a 12-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, a 4-way power-adjustable front passenger seat, and microsuede inserts for the front seats. An available 16-speaker ELS STUDIO 3D premium audio system includes two Highline speakers mounted in the headliner above the front seats.
The 2023 Acura Integra is now available via online reservation and scheduled to arrive in spring 2022. Although an official number has not been released, expect the manufacturer’s suggested retail price for the 2023 Acura Integra to start around $30,000.
