New for 2022
Last fall Infiniti debuted the QX60 Monograph to preview impending updates to this premium 3-row SUV. Today Nissan’s luxury brand took the wraps off the production version of the 2022 Infiniti QX60, and little was lost in translation from concept to final production. With a fresh yet familiar look, high-tech features and a luxurious interior for up to seven occupants, the QX60 gets updated from the ground up for the 2022 model year.

What Customers Want
“We’ve enriched the all-new 2022 INFINITI QX60 in ways that our owners asked for,” said Infiniti Global Head of Product Strategy Eric Rigaux. “Our spacious interior is highly functional and intuitive, with the right combination of features and materials to integrate into our owners’ routines. The all-new QX60 isn’t just gorgeous; it’s also practical,” noted Rigaux.

Hollywood Connection
To help launch the 2022 Infiniti QX60, the brand teamed up with award-winning actress Kate Hudson to create a short film called “INFINITI Presents: Conquer Life in Style with All-New QX60.” Infiniti Global Brand and Marketing General Manager Phil York observed, “Seeing the QX60 in Kate’s world gives us a unique chance to connect with our customers in a relevant and meaningful way [and] . . . the opportunity to introduce our brand through a trusted friend.” The film can be seen at www.infiniti.com/all-new-QX60.

Styling Update
Even with all-new styling, the 2022 Infiniti QX60 will be easily recognizable as part of the Infiniti lineup. Up front sits the brand’s signature double-arched grille with unique mesh inspired by folds found in Japanese origami. In addition to a large logo in the center, embossed INFINITI lettering adorns the bottom of the grille. Slim LED headlights flank the top of the grille, seeming to flow into the sides of the vehicle. A sculpted hood adds to the powerful stance of the new QX60.

Sleek Lines
In profile, the 2022 Infiniti QX60 roofline flows downward toward the rear of the vehicle, ending at the spoiler. This sleek shape gets further emphasized by an optional two-tone paint scheme incorporating a black roof. Adding to stylish looks are available 20-inch machine-finished alloy wheels.

Rear View
With styling similar to the headlights, the piano-key LED taillights give the QX60 a commanding presence at night. These wraparound taillights stretch nearly to the center of the rear hatch. Although the actual exhaust outlet of the 2022 Infiniti QX60 is hidden, the lower bumper features four indentations that seemingly simulate the look of a quad exhaust configuration.

Inner Space
Although multiple trim levels will be available when the SUV goes on sale, at this unveil Infiniti showcases a new top-level AUTOGRAPH trim. Inside, the luxurious QX60 AUTOGRAPH has available Saddle Brown semi-aniline leather trim with contrasting stitching and piping. Open pore wood trim, pleated leather on the dashboard and soft ambient lighting add to the premium feeling within the cabin. An available 17-speaker Bose Performance audio system completes the overall experience.

High Tech
At the center of the 2022 Infiniti QX60’s dashboard sits a new 12.3-inch touchscreen display — standard equipment on all trim levels. Wireless Apple CarPlay and wired Android Auto connectivity are standard as well, and an available wireless charger resides in the center console. An onboard Wi-Fi hotspot provides internet connectivity for up to seven devices. A full-color 10.8-inch head-up display is also available, as well as a digital rearview mirror that allows an unobstructed view at the rear of the vehicle.

Safety
The 2022 Infiniti QX60 has the latest advanced safety features including automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, predictive forward collision warning and rear automatic braking. Adaptive front lighting and auto-leveling headlights will also be available.

Front Seats
The 2022 Infiniti QX60 also has “zero gravity” seats up front to further improve comfort, especially on longer trips. The seats closely follow the natural curvatures of the human spine and reduce pressure on the hips. The zero gravity seats are power adjustable, can be heated or cooled, and have available massage functions.

Second Row
The 2020 Infiniti QX60 comes with a 3-passenger bench seat in the second row for a total capacity of seven occupants; however, the AUTOGRAPH edition swaps the bench for two captain’s chairs, also trimmed in the soft semi-aniline leather. These special second-row seats can be heated, and tri-zone climate control adds extra comfort for rear-seat passengers. With the push of a button seats easily slide out of the way to access the third row.

Third Row
All Infiniti QX60 variants will have standard seating for two in the third row. A small tray in the center as well as cupholders and available USB ports make being relegated to the third row much more manageable. The QX60’s panoramic sunroof provides additional interior light to create a more open, airy experience for rear-seat passengers.

Cargo Space
Infiniti increases cargo capacity for the 2022 QX60, including decent space behind the third row further enhanced by additional underfloor storage. Second- and third-row seats can be easily folded flat, giving the QX60 up to 75.4 cubic feet of cargo space.

Under the Hood
A 3.5-liter V6 engine powers the 2022 Infiniti QX60, producing 295 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. This engine gets teamed with a 9-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, and buyers have the choice of Intelligent All-Wheel Drive for any trim level. When properly equipped, the QX60 can tow up to 6,000 pounds — a 20 percent improvement over the previous year.

Intelligent AWD
Infiniti offers the Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system on all trim levels of the new QX60. The new direct-coupling system is designed to engage almost instantaneously when wheelslip is detected, with the ability to send up to 50 percent of power to the rear wheels. An Active Brake Limited Slip system can apply brakes to individual wheels and direct torque to wheels with grip.

ProPILOT Assist
Infiniti also offers an enhanced version of ProPILOT Assist on the new QX60. This driver-assist technology uses adaptive cruise control and steering assist to aid acceleration, braking and steering — both in heavy traffic and on the open road. This latest version also processes data from the navigation system to automatically slow for sharp bends or exit ramps as well as match vehicle velocity to displayed speed limit signs. The system can slow the QX60 to a stop in traffic, and will automatically move the vehicle again if the car in front moves within 30 seconds.

Coming This Year
The 2022 Infiniti QX60 should begin arriving at dealer showrooms in late 2021. Additional details as well as pricing will be released closer to the on-sale date.
